Hi! I’m Cate

Hi Coach, my name is Cate Wetterling, and I’m a Sophomore at girls basketball powerhouse, Valor Christian High School, in Highlands Ranch, Colorado (A MaxPreps US Top-40 ranked team). This year, I was contributed to our team going 21-1 and was named Jeffco League Honorable Mention. As a Freshman, I was part of the team that won the 2024 Colorado 6A State Championship.

My club coach from last summer from last year calls me the Swiss Army Knife for my versatility, but I consider my superpower to be my speed. It helps me create defensive traps and steals, as well as beat defenders to the rim and outrun opponents on fast breaks. Also, I pride myself on being a positive teammate and helping build and foster a great team culture.

I come from a very athletic family, including five current or former D1 athletes across track and basketball (My Dad, Brother and my three (female) cousins).
