Hi! I’m Cate

Hi Coach, my name is Cate Wetterling, and I’m a Sophomore at girls basketball powerhouse, Valor Christian High School, in Highlands Ranch, Colorado (A MaxPreps US Top-40 ranked team).

As a Freshman, I was part of the team that won the 2024 Colorado 6A State Championship. My club coach calls me the Swiss Army Knife for my versatility, but I consider my superpower to be my speed. It helps me create defensive traps and steals, as well as beat defenders to the rim and outrun opponents on fast breaks. Also, I pride myself on being a positive teammate and helping build and foster a great team culture.

I come from a very athletic family, including five current or former D1 athletes across track and basketball (My Dad, Brother and my three (female) cousins.
